What are maternity-friendly clothes?

Maternity-friendly clothes are garments that have the cut and fit versatility to be able to be worn during a pregnancy, without being exclusive to pregnancy. This allows them to be worn before, during and after pregnancy, and as we like to say, pregnant or not.

What are bump-friendly clothes?

The term bump-friendly is a casual way of saying maternity-friendly, and it refers to clothing that has a cut and fit versatile enough to be worn during pregnancy, without being exclusive to pregnancy. This allows them to be worn before, during and after pregnancy, and in other words, pregnant or not.

Do I have to be pregnant to wear maternity-friendly clothes?

No. Although maternity-friendly clothes work well during pregnancy, they look great whether you are pregnant or not.

Will I look pregnant in maternity-friendly clothes?

Our collection is designed to make you look good pregnant or not. You will only look pregnant if you are pregnant and showing. If you are in the first few months of pregnancy, the clothes will disguise your bump until it makes it's undeniable presence known. Otherwise, you will just look fabulous. We offer matching waist ties that can be used to cinch in at the waist, if you so wish.

Do I have to be a mom to wear maternity-friendly clothes?

No. Stylish women of all types can wear our LaDi collection and make it their own.

When is the best time to buy clothes for pregnancy?

Once you know you are expecting, you will have some time until you absolutely need to shop for your bump because nothing will fit. What kind of clothes are best for the first trimester?

The best clothes for the first trimester are the ones with which you can carry your new little bundle discretely. We are usually advised to keep the news quiet until after the 3 month mark, so you want to look as normal as possible in your clothes. What kind of clothes are best for the second trimester?

The second trimester is a fun time for clothes. It is when you are feeling your best and are the most comfortable in your body. What is the difference between regular maternity clothes and maternity-friendly clothes?

The difference between regular maternity clothes and maternity-friendly clothes is that maternity clothes are designed exclusively for the pregnancy stage. They tend to be oversized and cut to fit a pregnancy belly. That works while you have a belly, but not so much once you've had your baby, which make these clothes unwearable after because they are not flattering at all.

On the other hand, maternity-friendly clothes are not designed exclusively for pregnancy but accommodate the belly in a beautiful way so that women can all join in on the fashion fun pregnant or not.

The best part of maternity-friendly clothes is that they have a longer lifespan and can be worn by more women through different stages of their lives.

Can I still wear maternity-friendly clothes after pregnancy?

Yes! The beauty of maternity-friendly clothes is that they can be worn through pregnancy and beyond. Our bodies take time to transition and during that time we still deserve to look good and feel good about ourselves. Maternity-friendly clothes allow us to do that without worrying about having to "snap back" to our pre-pregnancy body and without having to squeeze ourselves into Spanx.

How do I know what size to choose?

Our sizes are based on the standard letter sizing for simplicity. Choose the size that you currently wear. If you need more information or measurements, each of our products has a simple size guide in the description.

When will I get my order?

What are your sustainability practices?

The LaDi brand has been started with an intention to be as Earth-friendly as possible. We do this by producing in small batches, locally, ethically and conscientiously. Read more about our sustainability practices here.

We raised money to partner with a local factory that will help us bring our collection of ethically made, maternity-friendly fashion dresses to life.
