The difference between regular maternity clothes and maternity-friendly clothes is that maternity clothes are designed exclusively for the pregnancy stage.  They tend to be oversized and cut to fit a pregnancy belly.  That works while you have a belly, but not so much once you've had your baby, which make these clothes unwearable after  because they are not flattering at all.

On the other hand, maternity-friendly clothes are not designed exclusively for pregnancy but accommodate the belly in a beautiful way so that women can all join in on the fashion fun pregnant or not.

Yes!  The beauty of maternity-friendly clothes is that they can be worn through pregnancy and beyond.  Our bodies take time to transition and during that time we still deserve to look good and feel good about ourselves.  Maternity-friendly clothes allow us to do that without worrying about having to "snap back" to our pre-pregnancy body and without having to squeeze ourselves into Spanx.
